Week 8: Reading and Writing

Looking back, the readings and the story writing has gone pretty well for me. My favorite weekly readings so far have been the Asian units that I am working on now. I think my absolute favorite has been the extra reading I have done on Arsene Lupin. These stories are so wonderful. I bought the entire collection on kindle for 99 cents and have barely put a dent in the stories. I have finished the project story that goes along with them, so I'm a little sad that I won't be reading them all the time. Maybe when I have some free time I can work on finishing them. I am happy with my project, and especially proud of both my introduction and first story. Both were a challenge, and I'm pleased with how they turned out.

This is my favorite images from one of my extra reading posts. There are a lot of different Lupin pictures out there, but this one looks the most like the image in my head when I read. I liked it so much that I included it with my story as well.

Looking forward, I think I should take more time in selecting which readings to do, because there have been weeks when I had no idea how I was going to write a story even though I enjoyed the readings. It has also been pointed out to me by several commenters that having more details about Persona 5 in my author's notes would be helpful. I am trying to get better at doing this. Unfortunately, it's impossible to explain an entire game to them in a short paragraph. I will keep working on it.
